Football finance
Read in the paper today that if West Ham had made the Champions League this year (no chance I know but stay with me) then their share of the TV pot would have been £1 million, when Manchester City would get £26.5 million because of the UEFA coefficient. This is just European Super League by another name, UEFA and the Premier League need to invent some financial FairPlay rules that are fair for all rather than just perpetuating the status quo.

So how come everyone is saying Rangers get £30m for getting to the group stage if they win tonight. I don't believe the £1m number for a second.

Re: Football finance
It’s ridiculous and one more reason to lose interest.

Football is fucked. They’re just taking the piss with all this so-called Financial Fair Play nonsense which in reality is anything but.

Wipe your knob over UEFA - sorted.

FIFA may already be too slippery to make a difference.

Re: Football finance
FFP is easy
FIFA & UEFA need to announce that any professional club can have a maximum of 30 full time professionals 18yo & above on their books at any point and have a maximum salary pool of £100m. Chelsea probably have about 70 on their books & loan out 35.
No loans apart to lower league clubs (max of 2 per season) & the wages stay on the loaning clubs FFP total.

Any breaches and that reduces to £50m next season after instant relegation.
The vast majority of professional clubs would be well under that number.

THIS OF COURSE WILL NEVER HAPPEN AS THE SUPER LEAGUE CLUBS HAVE ALREADY PULLED UP THE DRAWBRIDGE

Why would they want to do that?
